In parallel, United is tentatively exploring a deal for Kone, who impressed during the recent World Cup. Sources from France suggest that United is currently leading the race to secure the French midfielder's signature, with Roma's asking price expected to be lower than Brighton's for Baleba.

Juventus' Goalkeeper Dilemma

Over in Italy, Juventus is also making headlines as they seek to address their goalkeeping situation. The club's hopes of signing Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham have been boosted following the goalkeeper's exclusion from Spurs' pre-season tour due to a minor injury. This decision has led to speculation that Vicario is not part of Tottenham's immediate plans.

Juventus is reportedly interested in acquiring Vicario on loan with an option to buy, especially as they search for a new starting goalkeeper for the upcoming season. Previously, Tottenham's asking price for Vicario was around €20 million, but the Bianconeri may now find a favorable agreement.

Spalletti's Frustration and Transfer Expectations
