Inter Injury Update: Bisseck and Lautaro's Return Timeline
Inter Milan faces injury challenges as Bisseck and Lautaro Martinez miss upcoming matches. Latest updates on their recovery timelines.

Injury Concerns Ahead of Cagliari Clash
As Inter Milan prepares for their Serie A match against Cagliari at San Siro, the team will be without key players Yann Bisseck and Lautaro Martinez. Both players are currently sidelined due to injuries, raising concerns about squad depth as the season approaches its climax.
Bisseck's Recovery Progress
German defender Yann Bisseck has not yet returned to full training following a muscle strain sustained during the international break. Reports indicate that he is targeting a return between the upcoming Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Como on Wednesday and the league fixture against Torino on Sunday, April 26. His absence has been felt in the defensive line, and Inter will need him back to ensure stability in the back.
Lautaro's Target Return Date
Meanwhile, captain Lautaro Martinez is taking a more cautious approach to his recovery. After suffering a soleus muscle injury during the Champions League playoff against Bodo/Glimt in February, Lautaro has missed a significant portion of the season. He is not rushing back for the Cagliari match and is instead aiming for a return in time for the Torino game on April 26. His leadership and goal-scoring ability will be crucial as Inter looks to maintain their nine-point lead at the top of the Serie A table.
With only six league games remaining, manager Cristian Chivu is in a comfortable position to manage the squad carefully. Given the current lead, it’s essential that both Bisseck and Lautaro are fully fit before returning to action, ensuring that they can contribute effectively in the final stages of the season.
